The inside of the battery compartment appear to be too small for the AA batteries.

I have also tried holding the on button for a few seconds and nothing happens. What I can tell you is that when I do remove the battery from the pleasurizer they are extremely hot, it almost seems like the batteries are over heated when they are taken out of the device… but the device has not powered on once.
